I'm looking for a motor for a 63 Ford Fairlane 500 Sports coupe. I was thinking about a 289 but I'm not real good with cars, or motors for that matter. I got the car as a gift from my dad it was his project. He died this year and I want to full fill his dream and finish the car. Any idea what would work best? Plus it would be nice to find a transmission to go with it.
