Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

They never had a 289 in 1959 it never came out till 63-64 it however may have had a 292
Y block which the tranny won't work with th 5.0. If you go with the Mustang drivetrain
I think Trans-Dapt makes mounts for your application and like dead horse said it is
a good way to go.
