Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Ddi you buy that car out of Kingman by any chance? I was looking online via CraigsList at a 1966 baby blue 4 door Fairlane 500 with the 289/3spd combo a few months ago but had to pass.

If you got it; at least that 1966 went to a good home

Try Paint Scratch for your touchup paint.

There are no reproduction dash pads currently made, but you can buy a molded pad cover from Autokrafters. You will have to dye it. There were a couple of different size flex plates used on early small block Fords. Make sure you get one that matches you engine and transmission bellhousing. Availability shouldn't be a problem. If you haven't got a C4 yet, get a 70 to later model. They have a stronger input shaft. Pre-67 C4s use a valve body with an odd shift pattern and you won't be able to bang through the gears manually with your floor shifter. Headers are the same as for early Mustangs for the most part.

Ford, Mercury, Edsel, and Lincoln Paint Colors Check this out pretty penny for your paint but it's perfect original and get a spray gun and boom- perfect paint.

I have your car's CA twin, I'm in Riverside. (Head up Zzyzx road to CA and find the 5 or the 10, long time since I drove to vegas... I was maybe 12?)

I like bench seats so that's where our similarity ends. Light blue is nice though, specifically mine is Arcadian Blue. But check it out! See your VIN too, that'll tell you. Decode it, Look up "Decode Ford VIN old" with google. You'll find it! Look at mustang maybe too.
