Ford FairlaneFord Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.
I just bought a 63 Fairlane for my first car. And the car didn't come with seatbelts but in the original manuel that came with the car it says that seatbelts were an option. So I ordered some seatbelts off of dearborn and I was wondering if anyone knows where or if the car came with bolt holes, even if the car did not come with seatbelts. Any information would be great.
Check the transmission tunnel from under the car to see if there are any support brackets with welded nuts to start, where the bolts would go through the floor (If seat belts were installed) If these are there then you will also find holes (under/behind carpet/trim) on the outer floor pan on the inside of the vehicle and possibly up on the Bpillar. Good luck
