Ford Fairlane Ford Fairlane was produced from 1955 through 1969. The original body design was the full sized Ford body which started out as a family vehicle and slowly evolved into many different available models and body styles. The exterior paint and trim options, seemed endless with elaborate cloth woven seat covers and a rainbow of paint combinations.

Default 64 3-speed Clutch Adjustments?

Hello. New to the site, my name is Vin and I own two 64 Ford Fairlanes. Both are all original, one being a Fairlane 500, blue w/ white top with a 289 auto; and the other is an all white 4-door 6cyl 3 on the tree. My question concerns the 3speed. My uncle purchased the car for me as a gift and attempted to drive it home. The car has 76,000 original miles. Now the problem, there is no pedal at all. When you step on the clutch, there is no tension, and it does not disengage. This is how I got it, I'm not sure if maybe he blew the clutch up or if it is out of adjustment, of if there even are any adjustments. If anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated. My email is SPONGEY187@aol.com Thanks.
