Ford Fairmont The Ford Fairmont was an all-new, rear wheel drive compact car introduced in 1978 and sold through 1983. Coupe, sedan, and wagon bodies appeared at introduction, joined slightly later by a specialty coupe with a different roofline known as the Futura. The Fairmont Futura featured an unusual two-piece vinyl roof with an upswept central roof band.

if you think it pulls hard now.wait till i post up video from after i put in a stage 2 trick flow cam,coilover struts,cc plates,coilovers and minitubs on the rear with 325/50/15 drag radials.this thing is gonna carry the wheels and whoop up on the other cars around.

I hear someone say " Nice Oldsmobile" one more freakin time......... Dust Devil. i know that exact feeling. hence the GIANT F O R D letters i pulled off an Econoline and put onto my hood... I actually got one dodge...

oh and as far as the whole olds thing... i tell 'em it's the best one built. the Oldsmobile FORD fairmont. just to confuse them into thinking it's a rare prototype...
