Ford Fairmont The Ford Fairmont was an all-new, rear wheel drive compact car introduced in 1978 and sold through 1983. Coupe, sedan, and wagon bodies appeared at introduction, joined slightly later by a specialty coupe with a different roofline known as the Futura. The Fairmont Futura featured an unusual two-piece vinyl roof with an upswept central roof band.

nope, 255 and 302 only, keep away from the 255 if your looking to build a motor, 302 headers will fit but dont think intakes will, you can spot a 255 if it has a spider intake manifold on it, i may be wrong, but all the 55's i've seen have it.
