Default Awesome Job

I am new here and was thinking of doing the same thing.
You practically took all the guess work out of it.

I have yet to find my dream car, but looking at a 64 Falcon that has no interior but they say it has a V8 conversion already done. My eyes will have to see it first.

My other choice is a 63 Falcon 2 door and was actually thinking of doing a 4.0 V6 conversion on it.

I have a 1995 Ford Ranger with the 4.0 and really like the gas mileage on it.
I wonder if anyone has ever thought of doing it?

You did an awesome job on the thread and really thank you for taking the time to post it.

Welcome to Ohio! we arranged Sunday's weather to make you feel at home, LOL!

Sunday was the first time that Central Ohio was hit by hurricane winds (75 mph) in my memory, we usually get the rain from passing hurricanes.

Last I heard there was an 80% power outage between Cincy on the Ohio River and north of Cow-Town (aka "Columbus"). Lower Canada got hit hard after the storm passed over Lake Erie.

Had two 4" limbs come down on my Aussie ute, several new dents in the roof of my 64. Have to admit I now have a better understanding of what it was like in Huston!

WHEW! what a storm, we made it through safe and sound, as did the Falcon and the shop. very little damage to my house, back fence blew down, lost a few tree limbs and a few shingles off the roof. almost back to normal now.
thanks for the well wishes.
as soon as i get power back on in the shop, ill finish up the export braces.

got the export braces finished, its a crappy pic (cell phone) but you get the idea.
they are made from 3/4" SS, with 1" thread engagement each end. get the rod ends from Speedway.
one end of each rod is threaded LH threads, so it works like a turnbuckle.
