Hey Pep I was wondering what engine cross mount did you end up using. I have a 1962 falcon and I am going to put a 302 in it as well. I have all the parts but not the engine cross mount.

I didnt use a cross brace mount, I used the 1966 mustang mounts for the 302
there are pics on one of these pages in this thread. I got them from Mustang Johns here in Houston.

I used the granada pedal and cable. its going to depend on the carb you are using, but i made my own cable mount, and drilled a couple of holes in the firewall to mount the pedal.
Ill see if i can take a better pic of it, this one shows it, but not real clear. its just an L shaped bracket that bolts to the intake.

finished the trunk today. I had to make my own divider pannel between the trunk and back seat. mine was rotted more than i care to admit.
here is what i did to make a replacement for less than $20.00

I got some pannel board from home depot and cut it to the shape i needed then covered it with some very cheap (Wal-Mart) carpet.

then i made a Z shaped bracket to hold it in place.

then used a self drilling screw to hold it in place.

then on the seat side I made one more bracket to hold it from slidding forward.
both brackets were made from aluminum.

and done in a about 3 hrs.

Hey sdbcivic I have a 1962 ford falcon and I took the cable pedal assembly from a late 70's ford car. It works great to. Also noticed that the 1978 granada that I got my engine from had that same pedal.

That brace looks like it would would great. I was wondering if it would matter that I am going to be using the 66 mustang motor mounts with that brace?
