Default New Guy From Canada

Hello everyone,This is my first post so here goes......I just bought a 65 ford Falcon 2dr hardtop...It was disassembled many years ago and never put back together....I found this site just looking for info on the little Falcon..The car is very solid it was brought up from Georgia many years ago...Solid Southern Ontario Canada cars are few and far between...The comes with tons of extra parts also.Plans are for a hot little 289 with a 5 speed and 9'' Ford rearend bringing up the rear....I am a bodyman by trade and fully certified welder(mig ,tig, stick, all postion welding etc..) I build chassis from scratch, design all my own Mustang 2 suspensions and fab them all from scratch same goes for the rear suspension 4 bars etc....I learned all the suspension stuff from wreaking roundy round stockcars over the years it looks like a great forum and I hope to be of help to someone and maybe return the favor to me also....Thanks for having me

Have to ask, is that a 1920's Oldsmobile in the last photo? Headlamps and fender styling suggests that it moght be.

To help pass the time I bought a Beverly Hillbillies car model kit and have been playing around with it, the original was a 1923 Olds

Okay, that explains a lot. R. E. Olds sold Oldsmobile to GM and started Star. One of the very few I have seen assembled as Ihave always come across rods built on "Star" frame. Thanks.

Those are the only 2 pics I have...Its still in the same place where I bought it...Sorry for the crappy pics...I have 3 sets of trim for it. The 2 fenders you see hanging on the wall are mint..The car has mint doors, hood, fenders, frame rails,it needs one toe board and one front pan. The rear quarters need a Very minor patch about 1''x2''...The body has never been touched other than the red epoxy primer thats on it now...Their is not one stitch of filler I could find any where...I am thinking about mini tubbing it also, gotta leave a back seat for the kids ya know...LOL
