I am using the Granada rear end, see the first thread on the page.
some people use the Maverick or the Couger rear ends too.

A 57-60 ford 9" will bolt right in with no need for modification Look around they are out there and some people think they are worth their weight in GOLD.So be cautious on the price. Good Luck Scott

Not knowing what kind of engine you have a 5 lug rear end out of a 74 Maverick with a V8 will bolt right in. If you are going to run a 302 or a 351 the rear end will stand up to what you are going to need.

64-66 Mustang V-8 rear axles bolt in, some 66 Mustangs had 9" but are $$$ because of collectors.

i believe the comet 8 inch rearend will definately handle the power from the stock 302 engine. but i do know it will bolt right in and the length should be what your looking for ,.you should always verify measurements before investing in that project .. pre1979 mustang 8 inch should fit as well but once again always verify measurements...
