Looking at those salvage yards it's clear to me I live in the wrong part of the country. I've already e-mailed the one here in Ohio. I'll have to go through the rest of the links when I get home as there is a lot of great info here.

I'm just north of Columbus. Wrecked my 63 4 door and I'm working on getting it back in shape.

i took a short (very short) drive and found i needed to re-tune. it was too advanced in the timing. so i got that fixed. but while out driving around the block, i ran over a small bump and heard a crunch / grind sound. got it back to the shop and and found the floor boards are toast. ill start a new thread on floorboard replacement this weekend LOL. i got the sheet metal cut today.
someone had actually used bondo to "glue" the floorboard to the rocker pannel. i wanted to beef up the underside anyway.
oh, and BTW, temps are 60-70's here this week, damn its cold!

The last link you added for the car sponsorship is a scam. Google has a host of results if you search for them.

Where is Cartage fairgrounds?

Have to admit I once thought the fairgrounds in Hamilton, Butler County was "Cincy" but finally got that straightened out.

Gahanna Kid (he's in my neck of the woods) tells me there is also a swap meet sponsered by the ohio Valley Falcons on Jan 31 but he didn't provide the location.

According to the PDF Flyer the Winter Swap meet I was referring to is in Hamilton, Oh at the National Guard Armory. I'll check out the Carthage Fairgrounds one as well. Maybe just make it into a roadtrip/swap weekend.
