Default 1966 Ford Falcon Futura

OK,

I have a 1966 Falcon Futura that my dad and I rebuilt 10 years ago almost. I parked it almost 2 years ago as I bought a newer little car and I was moving and didn't want to take her(the car) with me. she also quit firing on me, I went to start her one morning and she acted like she had a dead battery, checked the battery and that wasn't the problem. I changed the points out and then I left her for a long time.

I recently moved back home and am itching to get her back on the road. I'm running old skool points. I am currently doing a tune up to her and hoping that fixes the problem with firing. She has a 302 in her.

I need a blinker switch and was hoping to find one on here somewhere!

A 1966 Ford Falcon would have a 302 only if an engine had been replaced.
It's a 289 !

I believe a 302 was first available in 1968.

Does it turn over at all? Did you put a charger on the battery just for giggles? How many volts is the battery showing? If its not turning over, and you have fully charged battery, is solenoid working? All of your cables tight and clean, even down at starter? If yes to all of the above then I would make sure its got spark, pull a plug and crank it over! If it been in storage for some time, make sure all of the wiring is good, look for critter nest, I had one where they chewed up the wiring. Make sure coil is good, if points and condensor dont fix your problem.

Oh yeah while checking connections, make sure all the grounds are good-battery to engine, engine to frame so on and so forthe!!
