Lightbulb Falcon pics thread

hi,
i noticed this forum didn't have a sticky thread for the member's falcons. perhaps one of the moderators could sticky this. it'd be good to reserve this thread for just photos and perhaps a description. we can save comments and questions for other threads and pm's.
i'll start...

Nice. Had a 2dr 64 about 15 years ago, but too rusty for me.

This is the only one I currently have. Its a 64 sprint. It was stolen from me a few years ago. On the plus side (sort of) is that the clowns that stole it over reved the bejezus out of it, and wasted the stock 260 only 3 blocks from my house. So I got it back with only a blown motor and trashed ignition, and have been saving up until I could afford to fix her.
I recently picked up a 5.0 motor and trans from the owner of a resto modded 65 Ranchero. So shes coming into the garage and getting power discs a slightly modded motor and a 5 speed this summer.

Minus motor and trans

We just got this '62 today!

Bought sight unseen off the intra-net. It's a bit rougher than I'd hoped but it's a great 10-footer.

that's a good looking wagon squirlz, and i'm glad the thief didn't get away with your sprint, daman. my trans finally quit 2 days ago. reverse still worked so i backed it a quarter of a mile to the trans shop. should be ready friday and i'll post a fresh pic.

LOL. I feel your pain. Ive done the bad tranny backup. Roughly the same distance when I wasted the trans in my 84 Thunderbird.

Superwoofer, like the stance of your Falcon. If I ever get to working on my 64 it will have the same stance as it compliments the angled side indent.

The "Lido" Falcons don't look right when sitting stock height, but then again neither did "Lido" Iaccoca. No wonder Ford fired him, LOL! (That's a "inside" joke for those of you that know Falcon history.)

Glad you displayed the photo of the muffler, had me puzzled as to why the pipe was coming out from the wrong side of the rear bumper.

yeah, that's the side it's been out of since i bought the car 10 years ago. not sure at what point it was re-directed to the left side. when i got the magnaflow put on a few weeks ago, i guess the muffler shop guy just put the new one where the old one was.

i just picked up the falcon from the trans shop. everything seems to be in good working order now. i'll crawl under it after work and look around, take some pics, post them here, etc...

still hoping this thread will get a sticky.

anyone else have falcon pics???

Here's one with the skirts on. They are "display only" as the tires rub. We took it to a small car show yesterday evening and she was a big hit!

The Falcon in the background has a 260 and was pretty sweet.
