I recently bought a 64 Futura (post) with a 200 / C4. I'm interested in coverting the car from the I6 to a 302.
I've done a lot of reading on the subject and the first step in the conversion is usually to upgrade the suspension to the beefier falcon v8 or Granada spindles / brakes.
Is there a problem with running a mild v8 with the stock 6-cyl suspension / brakes? Obviously you don't have the stopping power but are there other safety issues with the spindles?
