Default Slip Yoke

I have a '67 Falcon with a transmission that someone as pieced together from other cars. The slip yoke is shot. I ordered yokes from several parts houses, but none were the correct part (wrong spline count, OD, or u-joint). After getting a master parts catalog, I have pinned down that the Ford part number for the one I need is C6DZ-4841-B (See specs are below).

I have searched every parts place I know and most all of the ones listed in this forum to no avail. Does anyone know where I can find this part without having to go searching through a million junkyards (already been to several)? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Inner locking clips
25 Spline
OD = 1.5"
U-joint cap to cap = 2.469"

#1 Skip the "middle man" and go directly to a firm that deals with driveshafts and U-joints. Most of the larger cities have at least one such company. Look for "driveline specialtly" in phone books or on the internet.

#2 Any good salvage yard has a Hollender's interchange manual and can use the FoMoCo part number you have to determine what cars used the same part.

#3 Any good salvage yard has contact with others through various alliances connected by FAX. They can locate the part without you having to travel.

#4 The name of the game is "K.I.S.S.", learn the system and there is no reason to travel when looking for parts. Speciality companies (i.e. "drive lines") and linked salvage yards are there to make it easy to fi

Thanks for the information guys. I actually decided to take the old part to a machine shop to have the damaged region of the shaft turned down to the deepest groove (~0.100") and a new bushing made to work with the altered diameter. The shaft will turned down to near the area where the rear seal slides. There will be no alterations beyond that point so that the stock rear seal diameter will still work.

However, if this fix doesn't work, I now know where to look. Thanks again.
