Rubio, what's a "331" engine??? I've been fooling with Fords since the late 50's and 331 displacement must have slipped my attention?

a 331 is a 302 with a stroker kit that makes it have the displacement of a 331. with a set of afr 185 heads, victor jr intake, demon carb, long tube headers and a moderate cam, i will make close to 420 to 450 horses and is very streetable..

I quoted at the same time as you, my clock wasn't set at the same time, LOL

Also just curious if you have started the 331 stroker build ? If not and depending on your build , I would rethink your stroker opion and go to a 347 stoker kit instead of a 331, you will be much happier in the long run.

347 is nice but does not have the longevity that a 331 does...I purchased a 331 rotating assembly from dss racing, afr 185 heads and the intake already...I call it a 331 because it is a 331..it has 331 cubic inches of displacement...the beauty of it is that you can tell someone it is a 302 or 289 and they dont know the difference....makes for a nice sleeper motor with lots of power and without the weight or fit hassels of a big block...

I do agree sounds great ! but for most they wouldn't have a clue now a days.

When I say I run a 621 with an 871 they say " HHHhhhh ??? " what litres is that.

I say enough, LOL

Dss great people to deal with.

No such thing as Longevity, because everything always breaks at some point.

" SHIT MAKE SURE YOU PUT YOUR FOOT INTO IT FOR ME ! WHEN YOU LAY YOUR FIRST PATCH !!! LOL Good Luck !
