Default Questions about an engine swap for my Falcon

I've got a '61 Futura with a 144 in it, I've been thinking about swapping it out for a 200 for awhile. Don't really want a big V8, don't need all that power but I do want more power than the 144 offers without making a whole lot of modifications under the hood. That being said, I'm looking at a 200 that I believe is from a 1981 Granada. Any thoughts? Should I look for a different kind, what kind of things will I have to do under the hood to make this fit, etc. Thanks for any input!

If you are near NY I have the whole 200ci engine, tranny, mounts all of it out of a '64 for FREE. Complete air cleaner to oil pan. Everything you'd need Just need to come and get it. I hate to junk it but snow will be here soon and that stuff will be gone. ronjane83@msn.com if you want more info. Ron

I hate to throw out things like this. Could you meet me in Va Beach around Christmas time? We will be going to my sons home and could bring the pieces with me. That would save you some travel. Let me know. Ron
