Ford FalconFord Falcon - With standard features such as the exhilarating 6-cylinder Barra 182 engine, Control Blade IRS (sedan only), Sequential Sports Shift (on the optional automatic transmission) and an Intelligent Safety System which boasts a multitude of advanced safety features, the Falcon XT is not only a driver's car. It's also a car that the whole family can enjoy.
New on Forum - Working on a 60' 2dr Falcon that was my wife's grandmothers with 22,000 original miles on it....Rear frame sectioned (s&W) with narrowed 9" and a Heidt's and Rod & Custom front end in it.
My question is---- Will the front bar from a 61' or a 62' fit my 60' and the same for the rear bar- The later years seem so much cleaner in appearance. Does anyone have a suggestion on the best window moldings out there. I'm replacing the entire set (8) of the beltline mldgs/fuzzies and the verticals that can be shaped/bent as needed with the stainless trim/piping at the inner and outer edges....
Right now up on a rotisserie doing the final welding on the frame connectors and welding all the pinch welds and seams closed as well as filling all the holes.
I've tried to attach some shots of things I've done so far - Brake setup is a Kugel Unit that was modified to fit with a SSBC bias attached to it....Hope the shots make it..

Reason: Addtl info
The front frame is the same on the 60-61 and 62-63 Falcons. No reason a 62-63 front bumper can't be installed on the earlier car. However, the dust shield behind the bumper of the 62-63 WILL NOT fit the earlier 60-61 fenders because of the width of the dust shields differ.
