Default Fender removal question/help

Finally removing the fracked up fenders and I seem to have run into a bit of a snafu. There appear to be a few more bolts I need to undo before I can remove the fender but I have no idea how to get to them. Any help would be appreciated.

This is the fender that's going on. You can see the screws sticking out already.

Another shot showing the same thing, just a bit closer

The old fender I'm going to remove still on the vehicle. They should be just in front of the door there but I can't access them.

Let me know if you guys need more information or better pictures.
TIA

There should be a bolt in the kick panel area.....the easiest thing to look for is a rubber grommet, pull that out and you can get a extension socket in there to undo....if you slightly but gently push on the fender you can find out where the bolts are

TWO bolts behind the kick panel kenny. Use the replacement fender as a guide.

Remove the kick panel, look for an opening several inches below the lower lip of the dash.

The lower bolt is behind the round opening just above the floor, usually covered with tape at the factory. However, the lower bolt is supposed to pass through the inner rocker panel and it would be no surprise if that portion of the car has rotted away and the fender is flapping in the wind.

I didn't see evidence of that the last time I saw your car so take a hard look around the bottom of the fender on the OUTSIDE of the car as people typically reattach the lower edge of the fender to the car via a metal screw.

oops! just looked at the photo, it parears the right fender is not attached at the bottom. I must have lookd at the left side?

Thanks guys, I was able to find exactly what you where talking about & both fenders came off w/o a problem.

Roger, what you're seeing is the door being bent in, not a problem with the fender. That's next on my list of things to fix.

One last question. I'm having a bit of difficulty getting the antenna off. It doesn't appear to slide out or unscrew.

I'll get some pictures up once I'm done with everything, once I get the antenna off I think (crossing fingers & toes) the reasembly should go rather easy.

to take out the antenna gently lean it to the side to loosen it....there is a locking mechanism that looks like teeth...just rock it back and forth...might take a few tries but again be gentle....once you have loosened it up just slide it out!

Thanks

I'll be doing some more work on it tomorrow. I was able to put on the passenger fender with little trouble but it's just a test fit right now. I still have to tighten down the antenna (as an FYI it does unscrew, it was just incredibly tight). The drivers side fender gave me a bit of a headache but I think I have that fixed.
