I have a 1965 ford falcon and I was wondering if anybody knows if the floor pans and fender aprons off a 1965 mustang will fit on my falcon. Thanks Matt
fender aprons should they worked on mine. on the floor pans i do not see they wont work. theyare the same size as a mustang. the converts are differnt and fastback wont work but coup with hardtop falcon yes and convert with convert. when you need parts the only differnc is the center link on the hole front set up. the firwall is mostly the same to
Mustangs and early Falcon DO NOT share a common floor .
If you are going to use the Mustang sheet metal for nothing than metal to reshape you are asking for a large amount of work that would result in more effort then buying the correct Falcon floorpan replacement parts from a vendor.
this should get you in the right direction....+1 on what yank with ute said in not messing with the mustang stuff....you are wasting time and unnecessary labor
the mustang floors are a lot less in price and will only add on 5 hours more hours to get them to fit right but saved alot of money by going with mustang
65 falcon, better watch agreeing with me as "those people" are complaining about me again. You don't want to give them the idea you are 'another one". LOL!
The floors can be found at any of the mentioned vendors.
And I also agree with Yank, "those people" be damned... Even if you are doing your own work and aren't actually spending the 90 bucks an hour to fit floorpans you are wasting time that you could spend driving the car or working on something else besides rust... Or enjoying a refreshing malt beverage...
If the correct parts are available at a reasonable price why kludge?
