the rear is easy and cheap, just install a lowering block kit. In the front, if you don;'t want to go too low, you could cut a coil off the spring. If you want to go lower, install lowering springs. You can use Mustnag springs, so see what Mustangs Plus has to offer. Don't go too stiff. Do you have a six? Maybe the 480# springs will work. For a v-8, consider something in the 500 to 600 pound range.

I lowered my 63 Falcon by cutting the front coils. I cut 1 whole coil off, but in 1/2 coil sections because the shock gets in the way. Some say this is dangerous because the coil coil come flying out, but they forget the shock is there. I also did this to my two 66 Mustangs as well without any problems.

For lowering the rear, I wrote this a few years ago:

keep in mind that the more you cut off your springs, the worse the ride gets...fast!
they do make some after market dropped spindles, or you can bag it, or go to a smaller tire size (13's)
I also hear that the s10 spindles will drop it and they interchange with mustang..thus should work with Falcons if its post 61-63 years.
i had considered bagging mine (and still may) to drop it more in front

It's still dangerous to cut the springs in the car- it's much safer to take them out to remove coils.

Look at Globial West's ads/catalog. They have the parts for the 67 up Mustang and they interchange with your Falcon.

Lowering blocks can be obtained at a "speed shop" or aftermarket vendors who deal with "Kustom" cars. Look for theit ads in street rod and custom car culture magazines.

Basically all you are buying is two blocks of steel (the height is the amount of drop) which have a hole in the bottom for the locater pin in the spring, and a dowel pin in the top to locate the block to the axle. Extra long "U" bolts complete the kit.

Problem with lowering blocks is that they tend to crack the rear spring leaves after a period of use. The spring wasn't designed for the extra leverage you have when the axle is moved upwards. (Remeber high school physics? Leverage is the distance times the force.)
