Ford FalconFord Falcon - With standard features such as the exhilarating 6-cylinder Barra 182 engine, Control Blade IRS (sedan only), Sequential Sports Shift (on the optional automatic transmission) and an Intelligent Safety System which boasts a multitude of advanced safety features, the Falcon XT is not only a driver's car. It's also a car that the whole family can enjoy.
Ive just bought a new sony head unit for my EA Falcon, however i seem to have trouble installing it, in particular the mounting part of the installation. Ive bought a wiring harness and connected all the wires together but cant seem to mount the damn thing. Any help and suggestions are quite welcome.
where are you trying to mount it? Is this one of the resto radios that look like old but act like new? or is this a modern radio? What year falcon are you working on? Are you planning on cutting the dash (kinda a cardinal sin but its your car)? I guess we would like more information.
i bought my car with a cut dash. its the worst thing ever.
its like they just took a hack saw to it just to install a
modern radio and now its just a big hole in my dash.
-if its "uncut" then there should be mounting holes on the sides
that are very easy to get to if you dont have a glove box.
