Default 62 falcon front disc breaks from maverick?

i want to do disc breaks on the front of my 62 falcon. i had another post and got reply that i should use a granada as a doner car. does anyone know if a maverick would be good, or would anything not fit. i thought it would be more convenient to use a maverick because it would be easier for me to get a hold of. any advice is appreciated please post anything that might help, thanks.

All 1974-80 Mavericks/Granadas with disc brakes as well as the Mercury versions are the same between the balljoints.

Be careful of the Lincoln Versailles spindles; apparently there is a difference.

You will need to run 1963-65 Falcon/Comet upper control arms (1965-66 Mustang are the same) as well due to their bigger balljoints.

Hint: when I did a 5 lug disc brake swap on a 1961 Falcon; aside from the steering center link, every steering/suspension piece from a 1965-66 Mustang V8 will fit-------1965 only Falcon/Comet V8 are identical and, of course, the center link fits perfectly (2" shorter).

You will need 1975-80 Granada outer tie rod ends and I used the master cylinder/proportioning valve for a manual disc (read drum) brake from the same car. Brakes hoses from a 1974-80 Pinto finished off the front end

Rear end: 1971-77 Maverick 5 lugger with the donor car's backing plates work so your bolt pattern is the same front and back.

The Verailles spindles use a larger balljoint and tierod Just replace your corresponding pieces with the Versailles units.... and the Granada rear will fit too.
