bleeding the air out of your cooling system

HELP!
my car seems to have air in its cooling system. the festiva keeps overheating. after 4 hours of hunting for the cause, we beleave that there is air in the system. the problem is, we cant find where the hell the bleeder value is.

if anybody knows where it is and is willing to expose me as the dumb arse I am, please reply... I wanna go home =P

festivas do not need a bleeder port, they bleed well on their own. if you think that there is air in the system, try removing the thermostat or just replace it with the little bypass port at the top.

my guess , without any history on the festy or on what tests you'd performed, you may have a bad head gasket, as long as you have tried flushing it and that the cooling fan is working properly.
