Purchasing a Flex with a console in the center of the middle seat was a real mistake for us - we need the extra seat in the middle so that the back seats can be folded down for larger cargo loads or camping equipment... Any suggestions on how to efficiently go about this? The dealer cost seems very expensive and I would hate to discard the existing console and (replaced) seat. We have a 2009 Flex limited black interior with perforated leather seats, with automatic fold back. The car overall is great, but the middle seat issue is a problem.
