I have an 04 ZX5. The LED backlight on the odometer has failed and the display is no longer visible at night. I am told by the dealer/manual that I must replace the dash ($350).
Any ideas?
you can try to replace (take) the light from the used and repair yours or replace the dashboard, i did it in my focus and was very easy (no previous experience)

Sorry, I need clarification. Are you saying that the backlight can be repaired? I can replace the whole thing, I understand that, its that I'm trying to avoid a 4350 replacement cost.
