Default Extended Warranty

Need some suggestions, I just purchased a 2005 Ford Freestar SES. I like to know if its worth buying a extended warranty that will cover to 5 years instead of the basic 3 years. My driving history is this. I had traded in my van which I had since 1990 and had only 97000 km. Mostly city and drive to work and back. Ford is offering me the extended warranty for around $1550+taxes Canadian $$$ for the extra 2 years/60000km. I have never own a Ford, I bought this vehicle because my old van was wearing down and this employee discount seem to be a good sale. They also gave me a great deal for my trade. Any feedback is much appreciated and thanks in advanced.
