Ford Freestar The Ford Freestar is a solid, highly capable minivan that performs well and offers all the latest safety features. Question $16.30 each for WHAT?

I know this is a Ford forum, but I'm thinking I may be able to get an answer here for my Mercury Monterey.

I recently purchased a 2005 Monterey, used. On the backs of the front driver and passenger seats are handles that can be used to get into the back of the van. Each handle has two plugs or covers that go over the screw holes that are used to attach the handles to the seat backs.

I went to my dealer and asked to order new ones, in "Pebble". The Parts guy looked up the info. in the computer and each plug was $16.30 EACH! Needless to say, I'm not buying them there.

Does anyone have any ideas on where I can get replacements, for much less than what I quoted above?

I live in Southern New Jersey, Atlantic County, if that helps.

Thanks in advance.

About the only place you could find OEM parts like that would be a salvage yard. There's typically not much on e-bay for our vans either. The dealer price is high, but nothing surprises me.
