Default Low Pressure Warning System

Our 2005 Freestar Low Pressure Warning Light System light has come on.

All 4 tires have been checked and rechecked for correct tire pressure. They all are exactly where they should be.

The owners manual refers to resetting this system but I can not find the section where it tells you how.

Thanks in advance for the help.

The odometer reset button is used to reset the low tire pressure warning icon. To do this, quickly press the odometer reset button until it reads "Tire Pressure Reset" in the odometer window. Then press and hold the reset button for more than 3 seconds. The icon will disappear provided that tire pressures are correct and the system is functioning correctly.

Default Only resets digital display

Yes and no, You are correct that you can clear the digital display, but it does not reset the system. The yellow in dash light still stays lit and when you restart the car the digital display will continue to display the warning.
