My "Door Ajar" RED Warning Lite stays "ON" with ALL DOORS CLOSED and Ignition Switch "ON" on my 2006 Freestar. It beeps for about 1-minute and comes back beeping after every brake pedal activation. Also, the driver side door always automatically UNLOCKS after I lock it. This is an intermittent problem which started when the weather was cold but is happening more and more now even above 70-degreesF. Can anybody help???

On my former Windstar I could hear a slight beep when I opened every door, but one. I dug into that door and found the switch at the latch mechanism was sticking. Shot it with spray lube - not WD-40 - and then aok. Your sliding door may be a separate problem, or not.
