05 Freestar Information Display

I have a 05' Freestar SEL. I purchased it new. I do have most options that were available but I do not have the option (whatever it is called) that shows you your current fuel mileages and mileage to empty. I would like to have that on my display and I was wondering if there was a chip or something else I could get that would show me that. Any information would be helpful, thank you.

That is a pretty neat feature that I have seen on some pretty basic chevrolet models. Although this isn't a neccessity, it would be nice if Ford would get with the program on these simple and cheap features.

You can add an after market analog gauge that connects to the O2 sensor that tells you when you are getting good econoy vs bad economy. It is pretty basic; you can pretty much tell this much just buy evaluating your own driving habits. When you are flooring it, you are sucking your tank dry and when crusing at high speed you are sipping.

I believe the gauge is used to tell you if you are running lean or rich and the economy is a secondary function. Autometer is one brand that makes them. I would bet this would be cheaper than any chip you could add to do the same this.
