Ford Freestar The Ford Freestar is a solid, highly capable minivan that performs well and offers all the latest safety features. Much of the Freestar's structure and design came from the Windstar it replaced. Windstar offered class-leading safety and solid performance for its time. Default Service Manual, Factory

I took delivery of the '04 Monterey yesterday. It was described in "Congratulations, or Condolences?" thread. So far, about as expected. Wife still wants to keep her XJ-6, however.

Where can I get a factory level service manual? I was able to buy a used paper set of them for the '02 Windstar off ebay. Were they still printing them in '04?

I'd try ebay first.
I think that you'll really have to open up your wallet to get it from the source.

Just another thought... there are a lot of dealerships closing, perhaps there is one near you that is closing and would be willing to part with a manual.

Good luck!

Good luck getting anything free out of a dealership. Pretty soon that will be government property.

OK, I ordered a full set for cheap for an '06. Hope there aren't too many differences from '04. The '05 set was half again as much, and I didn't find a full set of '04.
