Ford Freestar The Ford Freestar is a solid, highly capable minivan that performs well and offers all the latest safety features. Much of the Freestar's structure and design came from the Windstar it replaced. Windstar offered class-leading safety and solid performance for its time. Freestar is the highest quality minivan it has ever built.

Default 07 Freestar rear air/heat

On my Excursion my rear air controls let me choose from hot or cold and roof vents or floors vent. I can make heat come out the roof vents and a/c come out the floor vents. Now my Freestar only lets me have a/c out my roof vents and heat only comes out the one floor vent on the driver side between the second and third row. In the winter this isn't enough to keep my kids warm, well actually it is but my daughter in the third row is sweating by the time my boys in the second row r warm enough. Why can't I make heat come out the individual roof vents like my Excursion. Is this just not an option for the Freestar. Can anyone else get heat out of their roof vents?
