Exclamation Brake pedal GROANS??!!
My 2005 freestar (61k) has a brake pedal that GROANS (sounds like two plastic peices rubbing without lubrication) consistently and repeatedly when pressed. It is very audible and annoying. It also seems the brake pedal travel is excessive as you almost have to depress all the way down, unlike when the vehicle was newer. It's had brakes replaced at around 20k, but nothing else since then.

Looking for troubleshooting ideas and things to test for/replace.
