 Related, or Not?
As I've said from my other posts, I had two major things go wrong back to back. The tranny, and a week later, a fuel injector. Actually, as soon as I got the van back from the shop after the tranny, I noticed it idling rougher, but I thought I was being paranoid. Sure enough, a week later, the engine light starts blinking and it idles really really rough. Took the local garage a few days to diagnose the problem, but sure enough, the new injector did it. Another couple hundred bucks.
The guy claims there's no correlation whatsoever between the tranny and the injector (of course he'd say that) and my common sense wants to say the same thing, but isn't it a bit weird an injector goes right after a new tranny? Could there be any correlation whatsoever? Just curious. |
