Ford Freestar The Ford Freestar is a solid, highly capable minivan that performs well and offers all the latest safety features. Much of the Freestar's structure and design came from the Windstar it replaced. Windstar offered class-leading safety and solid performance for its time. Freestar is the highest quality minivan it has ever built.

They will likely be overloaded. Weight rating should be on the side of the tire. If they're already mounted, the bolt spacing is probably different, too.

205 load rating is too low for the freestars, you can get away with 225 60 16 with 97 as load and the 50 portion will affect your odometer and speed levels.

I have 235 55 17 as stock from factory and can put 225 60 16 or 235 60 16 but it will make my vehicle add an addition 1.5 % more milage on the odmeter.

Gotta go with the tires Ford prescribed or a similar outside diameter if runing aftermarket rims. The above recommendations are good ones.

The weight and the high center of gravity in this vehicle will quickly destroy the wrong tires and perhaps cause an accident. It is cheaper in the long run to go with the right tires.
