Default 06 Freestar/Little wrench light comes on

I have an 06 Freestar SEL and the little orange wrench light in the lower left corner of the dash starts to blink if i am driving above speeds of 75 for constant periods of time. i can drive all week below that speed and no problem. i have an extended warranty so i have taken it to my dealer, they first though it was a transmission problem, then felt it was a water leak from a loose gasket. they said it was fixed but i still see the light. any suggestions or anyone run into this?

Exclamation Wrench light

first I would find out what codes they are getting from your computer. If you have taken it in, your receipts should have it listed. After you get those codes then the real trouble-shooting can begin.

Also how long are you driving above 75? What are outside air temperatures?
Need all the details for everyone to help diagnose the problem.

If it's still under warranty, bring it back! A steady check engine light usually means get the vehicle checked out at your earliest convenience. A flahing check engine light usually means immediate attention is needed to prevent possible damage to engine/transmission or emmission (cat. converter) systems.
