Default 2004 Freestar Left Blinkers Stuck ON

Hi,

Have a 2004 Freestar and yesterday while driving the little bulb indicator light in the instrument cluster popped on. When I went to make a left turn the Left indictor light started blinking very fast. Once home, I noticed the left front and back yellow blinker lights were stuck on even after turning the car off. I had to actually pull the fuse to turn off the lights otherwise the lights would have stayed on all night. Anyone ever see this or have suggestions? TIA. //rick//

Update for anyone that might experience this same problem. Was a short in the wiring. Not really a surprise but it was tough to find. Ended up being in the fuse panel under the steering wheel. A really good mechanic found it after a couple of hours of tracing the wiring. He had to actually remove the fuse box and on the "backside" of the fuse box one of the wires was loose. Don't ask how this could have happened but I hope you never experience this because it was very frustrating indeed. Oh well, momma is back to lovin' her Freestar and I'm getting sleep again. Cheers. //rick//
