Ford FreestyleThe Ford Freestyle's roofline stands at 68 inches off the ground, and Ford has declined to put a label on it, either SUV or sedan. Keeping the Freestyle tall and offering all-wheel-drive seems to be attactive to non-SUV and non-Sedan car owners, and the Freestyle comes with low ground clearance, unibody construction, independent suspension and a overhead cam engine.
My '07 has less than 15k. Both the front hubs were replaced for bearing noise. Seems both sides had a flat spot. They also replaced the battery as I have had to put a charger on it 3 times during this winter season. If the car sat more than 2 days without being driven, the battery didn't have enough power to start the car. I guess the Ford security system will draw down the battery within that amount of time. Oh well, everything is under warranty.......
