Ford Freestyle The Ford Freestyle's roofline stands at 68 inches off the ground, and Ford has declined to put a label on it, either SUV or sedan. Keeping the Freestyle tall and offering all-wheel-drive seems to be attactive to non-SUV and non-Sedan car owners, and the Freestyle comes with low ground clearance, unibody construction, independent suspension and a overhead cam engine.

Cool Freestyle Brakes TSB (some models)

I have a 2007 freestyle awd w/ 9,000 miles, My wifes drives it 99% on time, I drove it the other day and noticed a loud grinding noise when applying brakes when using the off ramp on highway...Local ford shop found TSB 07b10.(bad pads). They replaced all pads and turned (cut) all rotors,Unfortunatly they were not able to resolve the traction control light that comes on once and a while.

google "ford 07n10" for exact models covered.

The TC light comes on randomly , Sometimes first start of the day , It has happened only several times so it is hard to determine why.Any thoughts ?

If you scan thru the message in the forum, you'll find several about the TC light, mine included. The TC light on my '07 was resolved when the differential pump was replaced.
