Ford Freestyle The Ford Freestyle's roofline stands at 68 inches off the ground, and Ford has declined to put a label on it, either SUV or sedan. Keeping the Freestyle tall and offering all-wheel-drive seems to be attactive to non-SUV and non-Sedan car owners, and the Freestyle comes with low ground clearance, unibody construction, independent suspension and a overhead cam engine.

Default 2007 Ford Freestyle leak

Well, my husband and I are relieved to know this forum exists, just wish we didn't need it. We have a 2007 Ford Freestyle Limited that has been leaking from day 1. I don't garage my car so it was obvious from the start. The dealer, we know and trust (purchased many Fords from him in the past 10 yrs) he and his svc dept have been jumping through the hoops w/ us. I totally hold Ford responsible for the shoddy design of what should've been a great car. We're currently to bring the car in yet again so that a Ford rep can look everything over. After being told that my husband had the sneaking suspicion this went deeper than our single vehicle and found your site. This wreaks of class action and angers and frustrates us to see so many getting the brush off. We all obviously wanted to support an American company when purchasing our vehicles and instead get treated like this! We have F series trucks for business and personal use and have been very pleased with them. In light of the American car companies bleak scenarios, I've been hopeful that atleast Ford was dealing above board now I wonder.
I'd read that one of the bloggers wondered about 2007 Freestyles and newer and we can vouch for 2007 Freestyle Limited and it being as leaky as a sieve!

leak as in "sun roof"? if so, the only remedy is park on a flat surface or park with the front end facing down hill. Or get a welding rod...

BTW, I went from loving this car to beginning to hate it because of numerous problems... I have never had problems with my other Ford products. Oh well, last time I buy an "experiment"!

Interesting post but you never state the problem besides "leaky as a sieve".I am sorry you are having a problem but your post does not help us help you or any other owners with the same problem what ever that may be.
