Ford Fusion The Ford Fusion is an excellent choice among midsize sedans and should not be overlooked. The Fusion was introduced as an all-new vehicle for 2006 and it's a superb car. It handles well, looks purposeful, it's comfortable, and it delivers good value. Furthermore, the all-wheel-drive Ford Fusion extremely stable on wet pavement.

Default I too have had the same brake issue...

I have a 2007 Fusion and at 43,000 kms, the rear brakes are gone. It has gone in for regular scheduled service (at the dealer), and they haven't mentioned anything about it, but I just noticed they were gone after hearing a grinding sound a couple nights ago. I don't expect it was due to a seized emergency brake cable as I use the park brake all the time, but I'll have them take a look at it and see what may have caused the accelerated wear.
