Ford Fusion The Ford Fusion is an excellent choice among midsize sedans and should not be overlooked. The Fusion was introduced as an all-new vehicle for 2006 and it's a superb car. It handles well, looks purposeful, it's comfortable, and it delivers good value. Furthermore, the all-wheel-drive Ford Fusion extremely stable on wet pavement.

Exclamation Electrical Problems?

Hi everyone...I was hoping someone might know what would cause what I'm about to describe. I got my Fusion SEL a couple weeks ago and I love the car, but today it started acting up:

The traction control light came on and chimed, then went off.
The radio was playing a CD and turned off, then immediately back on.
Not long after that, the ABS and brake lights came on, warning chimed and told me to check my brake system. Then they went off. This happened twice.
After being home for a bit, went to run and errand and experienced a hard start (like the battery was low). While on the trip, every light on the cluster illuminated, the gauges bottomed out, and the engine lost power for about a second. Then everything resumed working normally.

I'll be calling the service shop first thing in the morning to have it looked at, but I'm curious if anyone has experienced a problem like that or might know what it is.

Thanks!

I'll answer my own question...had it in this morning, merely a loose battery cable. They kept it for the day to run diagnostics on it anyway, make sure everything is ok.

At least it's something simple.
