my 67 used to have a black top when my dad owned it. Before i took posession he showed me a cut in the canvas where he thought someone took a razor and cut a 1.5" vertical slit on the passenger side behind the side window. I took the car and had a new top put on and not long after that the cut reappeared in the exact place the other one was. I know its mabey the framework cutting into the canvas when its retracted but i cant see anything. i dont see any protection on the scissor assemblies. Should there be? If you have pics or diaghrams that would be helpful.
