Default Removing 1964 galaxie door panel

I recently started my first "restoration" on a 64 ford galaxie and I was able to get the motor running good but now I'm looking to take the interior door panel off. I took out the visible screws and when I pry lightly at the bottom, the bottom part of the panel seems to come free but the rest of it doesn't.

Do the two handles for the main windows and the smaller window need to be removed as well? If so, how do these handle's come off as I haven't been able to find a way to remove them.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated as I am dumbfounded that I can't get this door panel off!

the armrest, inside door handle, and window cranks need to come off first. The window cranks have a c-clip type thing holding them on. These's a special tool for the window cranks that you can get anywhere, it looks like this...

Performance Tool W80646 - Performance Tool Door Handle/Window Crank Removal Tools - Overview - SummitRacing.com

after you get everything off the door, it'll pull off just like the bottom did for you.

Thanks Oldmandan! I'll have to grab one of those tools tomorrow and give it a shot the next time I'm working on the car. Thanks again.

Be carefull pulling on the bottom of the panel, it sits in a channel on the door. Once you have the panel ready to remove, lift it up and to you.
