I used Sanderson Headers on my 66. They still look great after now 4 years of use. The only modification was I changed my starter to a smaller high torque Powermaster for clearance reasons. You have to lower the power steering gear box to fit the left side header in. Just lower it, don't remove it.
These are real good quality headers that really woke up my 66 with a 390. 65 and 66 are the same under the hood.
