What a sweet car! I love that body style, and would'nt mind having one just like it! My dad had one once, only his was a Country Squire station wagon, with a screaming 390 in it.
When I was 17, the old car I was driving broke down, and he reluctantly let me borrow his sw for a week end. It was'nt long before I was out drag racing in the thing. I was unbelievably..beating quite a few cars.
However, as luck would have it...my dad was out riding around with a buddy of his, that very night, and caught me...just as I was coming off the line...burning rubber like everything, and winning again, over another Country Squire driven by my best friend, who was also "borrowing" his dads car.
Needless to say, we both got in some very serious trouble over that! It's funny now, though looking back on it.
