Ford Mustang The Mustang remains one of the most widely recognized, respected, and desired nameplates in the automobile business. The Ford Mustang defined the pony-car segment in 1964; Plymouth's Barracuda may have beaten Ford to the showroom by 16 days, but it was the Mustang that set the sales records. The 'Cuda is gone now leaving Ford's pony to prance alone.

Or will i have to make some? i don't know alot about foxbodys.I also was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get part for foxbodys? I believe 429/460 mounts will work.

Why not put a 351C in it? Many "speed" parts (cam/heads) will swap between the 351c and the 351m. Then you can use plain 302 mounts and a T5. You can also find many more speed parts for the 351C than the 351m.

Get ready for the 351 boss build this summer, 4v closed chamber heads, 2.25/1.75 valves, .750 lift, 12.5:1 piistons, wieand tunnel ram, nitrous, I think its gonna roar!

Because I traded a 5 speed with creaper out of a old truck i had for the 351m and i know the modified motors i have a 78 ford f-250 with a 400m that's 500hp to the crank and i also have parts for the 351 sitting around from the 400 when i upgraded. So that's why i don't use a 351c. Otherwise the car would get a 429 or a 514 the modified was just there and i decided to put them togeather and have a toy because my 78 is more of a show truck than a toy like i would like to make the mustang.

Sumitt Racing has conversion mounts/lowering mounts for the fox bodies to 351's.
