Ford Mustang The Mustang remains one of the most widely recognized, respected, and desired nameplates in the automobile business. The Ford Mustang defined the pony-car segment in 1964; Plymouth's Barracuda may have beaten Ford to the showroom by 16 days, but it was the Mustang that set the sales records. The 'Cuda is gone now leaving Ford's pony to prance alone.

Default v6 help

ok guys, i am at a point where i have a few options, to supercharge and rebuild my v6 (or turbo-though not likely) or to do a v8 conversion, i have asked some performance shops here in ga, (ft stewart) and some in the surrounding area, and all of them want either an outrageous price (one said 15k right off the bat) and some even said that s/c was not an option due to the 165k miles on my motor. i do have some wear and tear that needs to be fixed such as noisy valves and a leaking FR Main seal. i was planning on doing a rebuild anyway, but they told me i would spend more money in machine shop fees to rebuild my engine that i should get a new block and start there. any suggestions on where i should go. i got my car dynoed a few weeks ago and it put down 206hp and 232tq, it was 90+ with 75% humidity. many people dont believe these numbers but the chart put down 186hp and 213tq and the dyno guy said that because it was a fwd dyno that my rwd car would be off about 20 on both numbers so that the 206/232 was a good number to go off of. either way i am happy. because i ahve a few mods and if i am putting out the 186/213 then im doing alot better than stock.

165k and your asking for it with forced induction on a 3.8 unless you rebuild. Check out stuff for the super-coupe thunderbirds, you can get the superchargers and parts pretty cheap of ebay.
